Expert interviews were conducted with professionals working in community engagement. The interviewees were invited to take part via email. Four interviews were conducted online via MS Teams between November 2022 and January 2023. Each interview lasted between 30-60 minutes. The aim of the interviews was to discuss challenges faced in engaging with young people and methods used to overcome such challenges. For each interview the audio was recorded and transcriptions were produced. The transcripts were analysed using thematic analysis to identify key themes.
