A total of 253 survey responses were received from individuals aged 18 to 25, the majority of whom were white and located in England. Over half of respondents were students. Only 19% of respondents said they had contributed to a consultation, with lack of awareness being the main reason for not participating. When asked about how to find out about future consultations, nearly half preferred social media. Just over half of respondents agreed that they could make an impact on decisions made in their community by taking part in consultations, but less than half strongly agreed that it is important for young people to participate in consultations within their communities.
